The Crotchetty Quavers, comprising West Somerset Brass Band members Jodie Watson, Mark Tranter, Michael Butcher, and Niall Watson, showcased their trivia prowess, continuing their winning streak.
Quizmaster Kevin Bye guided the attendees through 10 rounds of questions covering general knowledge, local history, film, music, and French themes.
Marilyn Binding, chairman of the Twinning Society, expressed her gratitude for the community’s support.
She said: "The quiz night is always a highlight of our fundraising efforts. Not only does it help us prepare for hosting our friends from Saint Renan, but it also brings local people together in the spirit of fun and friendship."
The funds raised from the event will be used to welcome visitors from Saint Renan, Watchet's twin town in Brittany, continuing a tradition that has been at the heart of the society since 1979.
The Twinning Society is keen to involve more members of the community, especially younger participants, in their future activities.
Marilyn added: "Twinning offers a fantastic opportunity to experience life in another country, build friendships, and be part of something special."
The society is now preparing for the upcoming visit to Saint Renan in May.
Anyone interested in joining or learning more about the group is encouraged to get involved.
