The pub quiz, a blend of competition and community, drew participants from the band's members, friends, and supporters. The event raised £236, providing welcome financial support for the band's August journey.
Claiming victory were 'The Woofers,' while 'Bad Boys & Girls' and 'No Idea' tied for second place. Mick Cleveland served as the quizmaster, guiding participants through the evening's questions.
Niall Watson, the band's Musical Director, expressed gratitude for the community's support, stating, "The funds raised will help make our trip a reality. Thank you to all who came out and supported us and made the evening so much fun."
The funds secured will enable the West Somerset Brass Band to represent Watchet in St Renan this August, strengthening cultural ties between the two towns.
