The new members are cornet players Harry Coombes and Alastair Harrison, and father and son Andy and Josh Symes, who play bass and trombone respectively.
The concert featured performances with a French flavour, as the event was part of a cultural exchange between Watchet and St. Renan, highlighting the band's role in fostering community connections through music. Baritone player Andrew Rhodes impressed everyone with his compering in French.
Musical Director Niall Watson said ‘I’m very pleased with the progression of Harry, Alastair and Josh from training band to the main band and am delighted that experienced player Andy has joined us’.
